About me
I help independent seniors stay at home—and stay in charge of their own lives.
Over nearly 40 years, my career has spanned healthcare leadership and cardiac surgery programs, complemented by meaningful volunteer work in home health and hospice. One of my most meaningful experiences was leading a video legacy project, interviewing hospice patients about their lives and preserving their stories as lasting gifts for the family members they would leave behind. That experience deepened my understanding that supporting someone well requires seeing the whole person, the life they’ve built, and the people who love them—not simply managing one part of their needs. When I searched for a single company that could coordinate everything a home and life require—from scheduling care providers to arranging snow removal and everything in between—I couldn’t find one. So I created it. I founded Viva Casa because I believe people deserve to spend their later years living freely and independently in the home they love for as long as possible. My role is to carry the weight of all the moving parts, so families can simply be family—without the burden of managing it all.
